Dinishia Nichols
Gym Director
Dinishia has over 25+ years of experience in the cheer industry. She has worked for event producers, sat on prestigious judging panels, and coached youth, high school and collegiate teams. She is a mother of two wonderful children and is extremely excited to look forward to growing the gym to its maximum capability.
Paola “Pao” Sanchez
Coach
Paola Sanchez, also known as Pao, has been with Cen Cal since the day it first opened. She was on the Fresno State cheer team for 3 years and holds a degree in Liberal Studies, hoping to become a teacher. Cheerleading is her passion, and she feels blessed to now coach younger athletes.
Nicole Montgomery
Tumbling Director
From 2000 to 2006, Coach Nicole competed as a worlds athlete. Since 2008, she has been actively working in the cheer industry. Her experience spans working with athletes of all ages, specializing in tumbling. She has created tumbling curricula, trained staff, and developed athletes from levels 1 to 6. As a coach, she has won two Summit titles and several national championships. Coach Nicole is passionate about working with athletes of all ages and takes great joy in watching them grow and perfect their skills.
Cassidy Ochoa
Coach
Cassidy has over 15 years of all-star cheerleading experience and is entering her fourth season as a coach, fueled by her passion for the sport. She is currently pursuing a degree in psychology. Cassidy is excited to start the upcoming season and nurture her athletes' passion for cheerleading!
Hector Cuellar
Coach
Hector has been cheering for 5 years and has been coaching for 3 years. He has coached tumbling, STUNT the Sport, and all-star cheerleading, and he is certified in levels 1-6. Katie Nickerson
Coach
Katie is 25, married, and has two beautiful children. She has cheered and coached for many years. This past year, she coached the Atwater High varsity football and competition cheer team, where they placed 2nd at nationals, along with their stunt team. She is excited to step back into the competition world again and can't wait for this season!
